    Default Macaque - Monkey's Killed!

On Friday the 4th June'10 at 12, I was driving from Bandipur to Kabini. It was disturbing to see these Monkeys probably killed by some villagers. The location was quite remote near the Nugu Dam area heading towards Sargur.

A sorry sight... could they have been killed for raiding farms?

Shocking. I think Abhishek is right. They may have poisoned for raiding crops.

This is extremely disturbing. Sad to see even a kid on the right. I would urge you to send this image along with details to the authorities to take action. It might be difficult to pinpoint who did this, but it can surely help in taking steps to prevent such incidents in the future. Thanks for sharing.
    Shocking!!!

Really a sad incident. It seems the whole monkey family has been killed. It just shows humans can go to any extent to protect their interests.

    Depressing and shameful!!

It's sad that things have come to this, especially in the summers the monkeys frequent human habitats for food and water and this is an outcome of that I believe.
