    Default Backlit ranthambhore tigress

This young tigress from Ranthambhore is very shy and she runs away at the slightest of disturbance. I had posted two of her images earlier.

Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, f4, 1/640, ISO 400, EV: -1/3, full frame image.

    Look forward to your comments.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Nice shot. The shallow DOF looks good. A little more space would have been better in my opinion. Thanks for sharing.

    P.S. 400mm f4? Dont you mean f2.8?

Love the backlighting. The composition is nice. I would have preferred that the rump been included and the frame edge being just at the beginning of the tail. The colour theme is lovely. Thanks for sharing.

    Abhishek,
Thanks for pointing it out. I had used f4 while clicking, so mistakenly posted it as 400mm f4 instead of 400mm f2.8 L IS USM lens.

    Bibhav,
I didn't want the hint of the tail, so composed in this manner. Look forward to hearing views of others as well.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

The best of the series ( though i liked the one looking the other way as well)
Since this photograph is completely in profile,And she is staring hard at something distant, i feel some more space in that direction would be appropriate.
