The angle is nice here. Some more space on the left would have been good as the stomach is nearly touching the frame edge. I guess this is how the scene looked, but I think a bit more brightness would be good as well. The details on the trunk are nice. I like the eye contact too. He doesn't look very healthy

What focal length were you shooting at?
I agree that slight more space at the left would have been better, nevertheless it is not a deal breaker. I wont mind cropping a bit from the left as well. It looks like overcast day? Slight brightening will be ok.
