    Default Hooded Grasshopper

I found this while on trek to Sandhan Valley in Maharashtra.

This guy is injured, with no left front leg.

Nice composition. The low angle and the details are nice. Nice observation about the leg. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

I like the composition from the front and the lower perspective is nice. It is tough to get higher depth of field at such distances. However, higher depth of field would have been even better. It will look good with a bit more sharpening.

Did you observe its movements without the leg? Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

    Thanks for comments.
Yes, Higher DOF was possible. I wanted it on face and eyes.. so kept it auto.

I have it with Higher DOF, but not much appeal.

Yes, I saw its movement without leg. It moved for around half foot.
    Thanks & Regards

Good photo of this species. I agree with Sabyasachi on DOF.
