Default Bear rescued by locals and Forest officials

We saw a bear being beaten by people in the presence of forest guards near Tadoba. Here is a different story of a bear....

A bear wandered into a village near Mannarcad,Kerala(Silent valley is another 50kms from here)and fell into a 30 feet deep well on Moday morning.Locals came to know about this and tried to get the animal out.Initially their efforts were of no use as they couldnt get the animal out.

Then forest officials arrived with a vet. They tranquilsed the bear and broght it out after 24hrs and caged it.Later the bear was rleased into the forests near Mannrcad.Hopefully it will make its way to Silent Valley and live peacefully!
