    Default Striated, or Little Heron

Apologies for my long absence, but the internet here is very quirky. India Wilds would not load for a couple of weeks.

Striated, or Little Heron (Butorides striatus).

As usual 500f4 + 1.4x II converter. Locked down on tripod, and chose a small aperture to blur the water.

    Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Nice composition. The smooth water flow adds to the composition. I liked the low angle and the way it is standing in the water. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

Nice. A more side-on shot would have been lovely, but I'm not sure whether it was possible. The image looks a bit soft to me, why is that?

The slow shutter speed has helped in capturing the water flowing nicely. The heron seems to be trying to lift its left leg and the water flowing on that rock is creating some nice patterns. I may experiment with slightly reducing the brightness in the image. Nice image. Thanks for sharing.

The silky water flow looks nice. A slight head turn in your direction might have been better. Thanks for sharing.
