    Default Digital Tahr at last.....!

    Finally I got it.Images of Nilgiri Tahr in my digital camera.I have been posting tahr images from my archives which were shot with the good old FM2....

    A 2 days trip to Eravikulam resulted in getting some images of the Tahr.Here is one......Female.Taken yesterday(18.7.2010)

    Canon 400D,55-250 IS,1/250,7.1,ISO 400

    Nice composition. The background gives a nice feel of the habitat. I liked the head turn and the eye contact. Do post more from the series. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice composition. Good to see a Tahr in digital from you. You can try toning the whites a bit on the belly area. Thanks for sharing.

    Lovely image Sankar, is this a full frame? if not you can try image without crop to show more of its habitat

    Great. Good to see that finally you have managed to capture Tahr in digital. The composition is nice. You can increase the contrast a bit. Slightly more sharpness will be better. I would also like to see images of habitat, like the ones you posted from your archives.

    At this point of time, the light would be tricky due to the rain and mist. Thanks for sharing.

    Praveen, there is a slight crop at the bottom and right side.I was trying to avoind that muddy portion at the bottom......
