    Default Bonding

I wanted to show the bonding between the calf and mother. I wanted to do something bordering on the abstract. The calf was touching the mother's mouth and trunk with its own trunk. Let me know what you feel.

Nice to see you experimenting. Expressive eye .Extreme close up brings out the bond between mother and calf very well.If only the mothers trunk was not blurred .

Vikram. The beauty of abstractions and art is that there can be many interpretation! I had a discussion about this image with Sabyasachi sometime back. The artists intentions here was to show the calf and the mother merging. Hence if you see, except for the eye of the calf, everything else is blurred.

Personally I would have wanted a darker tone to the image. We did try it out to get some interesting results. The dark patch you see in the middle started pulsating intermittently!
