Nice image Sankar, the eye contact is very good. In our home town (Belgaum) we consider these Coucals as auspicious that bring us good luck.
So even now when I see this bird I join hands in reverence

Lovely eye contact. The red eye enhances the image. Wish you could have included the tail in full. Some space on the top would enhance and the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

What do they call a coucal in your language? Bharadwaj is used in many languages.

The pose and eye contact is fine. Some more space, especially at the back would have been good. Thanks for sharing.

The eye looks nice here. I agree that you should have included the tail. Some more space all around would look good as well. We call it 'Kumbhatua' in Oriya. Bharadwaj is also a name by which it is widely known.
