    Default Count to ten

    Photographed this at Bandipur, when she charged at our jeep and then stopped as if she was counting to ten to subside her anger.

    Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, 1/250, f5.6, ISO 400

    The image has come sharp. The hairs on the head has come out well. The dust flying off the body adds to the image.

    Default Nice one

    Nice photograph Mrudul.Fantastic caption as well!

    Only doubt is that in what language she was counting?!......

    The follwing are my guesses;

    1.English.....Since that is accepted as the universal language...

    2.Kannada.....Since she belongs to Bandipur....

    3.Tamil......Since animals dont have boundaries and she may just as well cross the border and venture into Mudumalai

    4.Malayalam.....Since she has the courage to cross over to Muthanga....

    Regards

    Sankar, I dont know if she can speak any of the human languages . But definitely she was following her natural animal behaviour .

    Thanks all for the comments.

    Nice image Mrudul. The dust looks nice. I also like the sidelit hair on its forehead. Could you have zoomed out more to include more at the bottom?
