Elephant Charge #1
This is from the same series photographed at Bandipur. She charged at our jeep from quite a short distance. Since I was using 100-400mm lens, I was not able to zoom out more and hence tried to take some close ups.
The ear and the head movement is quite intersting and will post a few more images in the series.
Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, 1/250, f5.6, ISO 400, hand held, full frame

The elephant is throwing up lot of dust. The image is sharp. There is eye contact with both the eyes. Normally, it is not easy to get their eyes. The ears are interesting.
