    Lovely. Nice clean BG. A further narrower aperture might have helped get the male into better focus.

    The low angle enhances the composition. Nice clean background. The colours are lovely. Agree you could have tried a narrower aperture. Thanks for sharing.

    I agree with the previous comments. I like the lower perspective. A narrow aperture would have been good. The shutter speed would have reduced, however, since these fellows were not moving, I think it would not have hit the sharpness.

    This is so much better than my Pic ! And you got them in the open ! Why f6.3 ?


    The colouration of the Kaas Tiger beetles is little different from the ones I saw in Kerala ..

    thanks everybody...
    to Vikram-f/6.3 was an attempt to increase the DOF, but as you rightly said this is a very fast moving subject and I could get only couple of shots. as others say I should have increased the f-value and (maybe ISO too) even more to get more DOF...thanks.
