    Default Dhole closeup

I photographed this dhole in Kabini last month. This fellow was close by and I wanted an intimate portrait.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon Ef 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/100. full frame shot.

    Look forward to your comments.

Beautiful composition. The image is intimate and draws the viewer into the frame. I am wondering at what level you took the photograph.

Lovely image Sabyasachi. I have question similar to Ranbir's. How did you manage to take it from such a low angle?

I asked the driver to back off the vehicle. I was handholding, but pressed my arms on the side walls of the vehicle to get a lower angle. I was taking my chances, as the vehicles in Kabini are designed for carrying maximum number of passengers. Poor photographers have no choice but to shoot from over 6-7 feet height.
