    Default Wind beneath my Wings!!!

I thought that the song Wind beneath my wings by Bette Midler aptly described this pose.

This was shot on Sunday just after it had rained.

    Canon EOS 1000D, Canon 300mm f/4L IS USM + 1.4x Extender
    SS 1/400 (-1/3 EC)
    f/5.6
    ISO 200

    Comments and critiques welcome.

Nice wing stretch. It is difficult to get the eyes clear due to black on black scheme. Thanks for sharing.

You are right. Plus the exact focus is not on the bird but slightly before it due to which the eye isn't as distinct as it should have been.

Nice shot Bibhav, love the wing span. I wish you would have got more details & as Sabyasachi rightly mentioned difficult to get eye contact.

I think this is a well exposed photograph. Good timing too.

The composition is nice. The wing span is good. With the focus was right, it would have enhanced the image further. Thanks for sharing.
