    Bibhav,

    Please read the posting instructions in the sticky thread. It would be of help.

    Please post the camera, lens, shutter speed, aperture, ISO details etc to get a better critique of your image.

    You got the focus right. It would have been good if you could have photographed from a lower angle. That would have helped you avoid the dark stick or something in the background. Also, some more space at the top would have been better. You can also crop a bit from the bottom.

    The copy right notice can be toned down and made smaller. It takes away the focus from the image.

    Is this a big crop ? I would like to know the camera, lens and exposure details. There seems to be bit of noise in the image.

    yea actually... it has been cropped quite a bit ...hence the noise... this was from a point and shoot... with manual macro settings... details ill hv to see the original file. i just posted it from flickr. the "stick" thing is actually me holding the tail of the snake... so had to crop it off ... thanks for the comments will keep em in mind... (esp the watermark)

    The forum rules are very clear. The subject should not be photographed under controlled conditions. In future please desist from posting such images.
