Great sighting. Lovely head turn and eye contact. How long was the sighting? Why only 267mm focal length? Look forward to see more in the series. Thanks for sharing.

Mrudul,
Thanks for the comment
It was a very memorable sighting..lasted for 30min! The leopard was not bothered by our presence and was walking ahead of us. Now, I must admit I was too excited about this sighting, my first sighting of a leopard where I got some photographs. So, I just played it safe by not zooming in too much

Great sighting. 30 mins with a leopard is certainly a lovely experience.
The catch light in the eye is nice. I would prefer to rest the lens on a beanbag to make it stable and zoom in a bit. Better to zoom in than crop later. The dappled light sets the mood. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

Wow! Nice image Bhargava, this is the best of the lot from your Kabini trip. The head turn and eye contact is nice, and the Leopard looks quite healthy. Very rarely we get opportunities to see these elusive cats on ground and in open. Suggest you start using bean bag, will be very handy especially in jeeps.

Sankar,
Hope your luck with cats gets better soon
Praveen sir,
Thanks so much for the comment. I am looking for a bean bag/monopod...will surely get one very soon!
Stunning photo Bhargava..
I loved the shadow-darkens on the body and the curious head turn.
Thanks & Regards
