Nice behavior captured. The vertical composition looks good. If possible increasing the ISO further would have helped. Thanks for sharing.

Its a nice and different sight. It is not easy photographing a swarm of bees. I am sure even with a DSLR it would not be easy.
The higher shutter speed has helped. The lighting was a bit tough. The higher depth of field due to the smaller sensor of the compact camera and the brightly lit background has led to the attention going to the background. The bees are moving in a triangular fashion. I think with better lighting, the bees would have come out well. Thanks for sharing.
