Nice composition. I liked the perch and the eye contact. The clean background adds to the composition. Look forward to more from 100-400. Thanks for sharing.

You will find a huge improvement with the Canon EF 100-400 mm L IS USM lens from your previous Sigma 150-500.
The background is more or less well diffused barring the dark curved patch on left. I think moving a bit more to the left would have strengthened the image, as the dark out of focus patch on the left of the image would have been eliminated. It is good to try a new lens with subjects that are close to you before venturing out to the forest in search of the tiger or leopard.
