    Canon 7D
    canon 200mm f2.8 L USM.
    TV 1/8000,AV mode , @f 4.
    Hand held Raw file converted to jpeg, PP not done.
    Shot at Ranganatittu bird sanctuary.

    Nice interaction. Is this a crop or full frame image? A bit more space at the bottom showing the legs and a little bit at the right to get the wing in full would have been great.

    As mentioned in your previous images, you could have done with a lower shutter speed to the tune of 1 and half stops. That would have given you a narrower aperture f5.6 or f7.1 or so and a better depth of field.

    Overall a very interesting moment captured. I am sure it would have been exciting to watch this. Thanks for sharing.

    Surely a nice moment captured. The open beak adds lot of interest to the image. Agree about the space at the bottom. It is surely a rare behavior to photograph. Thanks for sharing.

    Thank you sir and mrudul
    The post is FF and more and very close to the sub.
    Still I increased the f no to 4 from 2.8 and AV mode used so SS attained 1/8000.
    But these settings in my last post done very well.
    But once i want to try to shoot for a week so i can get few more shots like this .
    and I invite everyone.
