Default Sunshine and Shadows III - Tiger in Black and White

I have been trying to explore the Sunshine and Shadows theme.

Tiger - Panthera tigris tigris. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.

Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII, ISO 400, f6.3, 1/320, full frame image.

Can you guess why I composed with the tiger virtually at the centre of the frame?

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

The b/w composition looks good. The eye is nicely lit. He has nicely hidden himself behind the tree. Thanks for sharing.

There was a tree on the left and the forest floor was strewn with dried leaves. I used the tree at the left and the dried leaves at the bottom to create a "L" shaped frame. This together with the tree on the right forms a frame within a frame. The Sunlight is falling on one eye, else the tiger would not have got any attention.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Lovely Light on the eyes. More space either on the left or on the right would have ruined the balance and added unwanted out of focus space which would have attracted attention to the eye. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing.
