Red Headed Vulture Landing
Red Headed Vulture (Aegypius calvus). Photographed at Bandhavgarh, in Magadi Zone 2. We were waiting for the tiger in the Sehera area, when saw this one landing.
Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, f7.1, 1/2000, hand held, cropped.

Nice landing pose with the legs and talons spread out. One can see the wings and tail feathers tuned for landing. The sharpness is good. Thanks for sharing.
