Default Tiger resting in shade - II

I wanted the three tree trunks covered by depth of field and created a diagonal composition. Unfortunately, Sun God had other ideas. Just a ray of sunlight in his face, and this image would have been transformed beyond recognition. Also, I could have made a terrific black and white image out of it. Unfortunately, such is wildlife photography.

    Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.

Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, Canon EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS II USM, EF 2xII, ISO 400, 1/400, f5.6, EV: +1/3, full frame image.

    Cheers,

A nice composition. The tiger came and posed for you, but it seems the sun god had other ideas :-). Or maybe if he had been seated a bit ahead, the light would have been ideal. I liked the eye contact and the details on the tree barks. Thanks for sharing.
