First shot with my new gear :)

Shot this fellow on a potted ajwain plant on my terrace. My first shot with the new gear.

Nearly full frame- cropped a narrow strip from the top.
Slight boost in sharpness.

Wish I had more green in the lower left corner .

Congratulations on your new gear.

I am very happy that you got equipment according to the area where your interests lie. I am sure there would be some nice documentation coming from your 100mm.

The background looks intriguing. In fact the shallow depth of field with more out of focus plant gives an impression that it is some underwater stuff. :-) Pretty interesting. Slight crop from the top to remove the dark spot at the top left would enhance the image. Thanks for sharing.
