The central part of the image i.e. the stamens and the OOF green portions behind it look good. However, I feel the sky and the OOF BG leaves (palm fronds), especially the bright green one at the top right, draw some attention away from the flower. An all-black BG would have suited this better.
Wondering whether firing a brighter flash would help...

The vertical composition is nice. I agree the coconut leaf in the background is a bit distracting. The yellow stamens look nice. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the previous comments. Also, a higher depth of field would have been better. It is better to get equal illumination at the top as well as bottom parts of the image.
