Whiterumped Shama

Whiterumped Shama, Dhani hill. One of my favorite birds with a most beautiful song, often called the 'whistling school boy' of the Eastern Ghats. This guy was confidently hopping from branch to branch within hands reach as I sat near a drying nullah for gaur.

Shot hand held, at 1/80 sec, have another one, at 1/40 sec . Will post that next.
