    Default Mirchani Cub resting

This was taken in Bandhavgarh. This is one of the Mirchani cubs resting, photographed from the elephant back. We were quite close, so I was not able to include him fully. This is full frame.

    Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 400, f7.1, 1/400, hand held.

    comments and critiques welcome..

Nice relaxed pose. The composition is alright, I don't think there was much you could do about it anyway! Did you get any shots with the tiger yawining after getting up?

Its skin looks so nice. The pose is good. I don't mind the hind legs not being visible. Moving the camera slightly to the right might have been even better. Wish the bamboo was not there infront of the face. Thanks for sharing.

Nice relaxed pose Mrudul, the details have come out well. Agree that the bamboo in front is a bit distracting.

The colors have been captured well.

I saw two of the three Mirchani cubs from atop an elephant in the morning. I was blessed to see them in the open that very afternoon.
