    Default Indian Ringneck Parrot

This shot I took at at our house backyard 4 days ago. Every day in this mango season parrots, koel & crows are common visitors. I was attracted to the chirping of parrots in the early morning. Though I tried to make it a shot without sunspots but I couldnot. Welcome for comments.

Nice to catch it in action. The eye contact is nice. I liked the inverted pose. A higher shutter speed would have been good. I am thinking if moving a bit more to the left would have been good. Thanks for sharing.

I agree that moving a bit to the left would have been better. You have used 195mm focal length. How big is the crop? Since you were using the 70-300mm you could have used the maximum focal length to get a closer image and more details.

A higher shutter speed would have been great in freezing the action. You need to see when the movement of the parakeet is less and then click. Thanks for sharing.

This looks to me more like a rose ringed parakeet..don't think parrots are common any more! Agree with comments made...moving to the left would have ensured a better view of the action
