    Lovely image Bhargava, the details & antlers have come out well. The muddy salt pit too is looking good. I wish the light was better, the high ISO has created lot of noise in the bg.

    Light seems to be pretty low as reflected in the shutter speed. Is this from the recent trip?

    Nice pose and composition. Seems the light was very bad, agree about the noise. Thanks for sharing.

    Very nice. The back-lit velvet on the antlers looks nice. Nice portrayal of the environment too. Good that you got the sore spot clearly visible. Agree about the noise, but NR would kill the details here. Overall a very good image.

    Nice one bhargava. Agree with comments below. You have brought three intresting natural history pointers togather in this image....the velvet, sore spot and the salt lick.Nice composition and details as well.
