    Default Sarchu

This shot was taken at Sarchu on the way to Leh. The sun and clouds forming a interesting colour scheme on the mountains.

Equipment used Canon 350D, Canon 18-55mm lens.

    Cheers,

I like the streak of light selectively lighting up a portion of this beautiful landscape. Lot of details in the image. The streaks formed on the sand makes it more interesting. It is good that you got some dark clouds to increase the drama. In Ladakh every turn you take is interesting. If you keep your eyes open, then you are rewarded with such good sights. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for the comments.

Chitrita, I agree the drive from Keylong is amazing. We were stopping our vehicle at every corner to take pictures.

    Thanks Kiran,

It was a bit cloudy as you can see, so I think -1 stop would have made the mountains very dark and the foreground colours would appear muted. However, I will check the raw image.
