    Default His Majesty Looks back

This tiger - one of the mirchahani brothers - was drinking from damnar nullah, a small stream. The tiger jumped before I could remove my camera from the bag. It soon climbed the bank. I was waiting for it to come out into a patch lit by the early morning rays. Fortunately, it paused to look back at the spot where the morning rays lit its head.

Canon EOS 1 D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm F2.8 L IS USM, ISO 200, F4, 1/320 sec, full frame. I didn't change a thing while processing in lightroom. Just converted.

    Look forward to your comments.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

That a nice photograph. The light is nicely lighting up the face. Its kind of giving a different effect to the photograph.

    Nice composition.

Great light and lovely pose! Is this the one with the 'fork' marking on his left cheek? I have some fond memories of him. He sure does look a lot less cub now

Exposure is amazing, doesn't a thing changed in this!

    Aditya,
You are right. Will share a few more images of the two brothers.
    Cheers,
