    Default Eurasian Kingfisher

A common KF shot at lotus pond in Hyd. The guy was almost inside a bush with almost no light and it was around 6 in the evening.

Good that you used a narrow aperture- the light was quite low when we found him. Nice composition. All the same, I'd like a slight boost in saturaion/vibrance.

Nice head turn and eye contact. You could have increased the ISO further for more shutter speed. Wish the branch was not directly behind, but cant help that. It is good there were no branches infront. Did yo do any noise reductions? Thanks for sharing.

Yes Dr. I ran the image through neat image as it was shot after 6 and this was a crop. I used a Canon 7D with a 300 F4 which i forgot to mention in the exif.

    Neat image for entire image?

There is loss of details on the bird. There is always a trade off between noise and details. I would prefer to retain details.

    Cheers,
