Nice moment captured. I like the sober colors. I am thinking if a vertical composition will look better. Also, it will be easier for us to judge the image if you share the exif settings:-)

Looks like low light. I agree that a vertical would have been better due to the long straight palm tree. A bit more brightness would be better.
