    ? Blue Tiger.It was captured when the butterfly was beating its wings rapidly.

    Captured at Nagaon in Assam in June 2011
    with Canon 500D + 150-500mm lens
    Exif:
    1/200
    f/7.1
    ISO 800
    Handheld
    Slightly cropped from top & Left to avoid distracting branches.

    Size :-900 pixels on longer side.Actually re sizing was done for uploading in some other sites

    Beautiful colours in the BG. Nice composition, but thinking how it would look with the butterfly placed to the right. Wish the shutter speed was slightly higher, for more sharpness.

    Lovely colours. The flowers on the top frame the image nicely. Agree a higher shutter speed would have been good to freeze the motion. I think an off-centred or a vertical composition might look good. Thanks for sharing.

    Colourful image. Wish you had a higher shutter speed.

    It is always better to either directly convert from RAW or resize from a TIFF. Else, the quality gets dropped.
