    Default Kite

Wish it had been on a natural perch.

    Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 200, 1/250, f8, hand held, full frame.

Nice image. Seems like the bird was watching you to decide if you posed a threat I'd prefer just a bit lesser space on the right side of the frame. Wish there was a little more head turn so that light would have fallen on the other eye which is slightly darker presently.

I'm not sure how many of us could have done better than this in this case.

Nice image Mrudul, the play of light is good. One eye with catch-light and other one in shadow.

Nice shot.Light seems to be harsh.I agree about lesser space on the right. You can try opening up the shadow a bit on the right eye. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shot. The details have come out well. The eye contact is nice. Its left eye (the one to our right) is well lit. The angle of the shadow of the beak suggests this is nearly late afternoon or morning light. Else, the bird dropping on the stone would have got burnt. Where was this photographed? Hessarghatta?
