Default The village lady: House sparrow

Sad really that these birds are now seen only in villages. The loud radio, television and wireless communication in towns have ensured that they no longer live there!

P.S.: Spot healing brush used to cover up a small portion of the sky with greens. I'm afraid I got caught between two schools of thought regarding processing and that's the reason I'm tempted to experiment something like this once in a while :P

Surely a common sparrow is no longer common these days. Liked the pose and the eye contact. The details are nice. What are white patches (?), or is due to the PP? What is it perched on? Thanks for sharing.

    Mrudul,

I think the small patches that can be seen is the portion of the sky to which I did the special processing. I actually didn't push the processing too far, so the sky is still partially visible!

Nice one Bhargava, agree that the sparrows are seen only in villages. However a couple is resident in my apartment for past 2 years. The bg has been nicely done, however I too wish to see the original.
