    Please critique this image. Shot this one in Pune.

    Canon 600D. 55-250mm
    Manual Exposure
    Spot metering
    Shutter Speed 1/500
    Aperture 9.0
    ISO 400
    Focal Length 250mm
    Cropped by 61%
    Monopod support

    HI Atul.. Nice composition.. Like the details on wings.. but head part I think Its out of focus..You should try to focus more head part.. for better image..

    Interesting image with two flies on its head. What was it doing? Was it just perched for a long time?

    Thanks guys. It perched for around 4 mins. I guess it probably landed with flies on it. There were around 7 flies troubling it. The cubetail was trying to get them off. After taking some images, I wanted to take a recording to capture the action, but unfortunately it flew off by then. Suprisingly the flies apeared to be hanging on to it.

    Very nice record. Never seen this happening. I agree with Bhavya about the focus. Thanks for sharing.
    PS- I think you have made a typo, it is "clubtail" (a reference to the unusual shape of the tail), not "cubetail".
