    Default Eurasian Collared Dove

Please confirm the id as I was getting confused because of the black ring on its neck. Photographed at Maidanahalli.

A lesser ISO would have been good, but I forgot to change the settings as I trying to photograph the black bucks.

It does look like the collared dove. Was it shot from a vehicle? I like the details you got on the bird, but wish there was more light falling on the eye for you to get better exposure.

Nice image. The eye contact is good. The catchlight in the eye has come out well. It would be nice to document the names in various languages.

    Cheers,
