    Shalik,

    Welcome to Indiawilds!

At first sight, I was surprised to see a three-legged tiger

You captured a unique pose. The background shows how much commotion a tiger sighting can create. It's now high time that private vehicles should not be allowed into the park in tadoba.

Please do share the exif data so that better suggstions can be made

    Hi Shalik,

    Welcome to IndiaWilds..!!

You have captured a nice moment. Lucky that you had the sighting in the open. The pose and the eye contact is nice. Its good you had the tiger facing towards you. Nicely captured. Do post the EXIF details. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice Photograph.Rare pose,Stripes,Eyebrows,Colours captured well.

On the same breath,I have upset that Tadoba ramains open during Rains also.Even Ranthambhore is closed for a short (July-Sept )period. The Wild may be allowed to roam peacefully at least for a few months free from visitor/vehicle.
Where there is Annual Animal Migration in a vast contiguous area, part area may be kept open. I think Tadoba-Andhari does not fall within this category.Possibly Bandipur-Nagarhole-Mudumalai-Wynad Biosphere Reserve is the only stretch available in India which will come under this category. The Sundarbans is kept open throughout the year but visitors remain in Launch ,
can only land at Watch Towers outside Core Area (with one possible exception ).No problem with mostly inaccessible Kaziranga also, with reasonable migration to Mikir Hills during rains.

    Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

    Saktipada,

You have made a valid point. However, this year, tadoba was kept open only partially. Only the main concrete raods were kept open for tourism while the mud tracks remained closed. Sorry if you already knew this,

    regards

    Nice image Shalik!

The Tiger likes the mud roads and prefer to walk on those. Unfortunately, the tiger has to bear with the tar roads and the wildlife with speedy vehicles.

I haven't been to Tadoba for sometime. In fact the last was when I went for that phone donation ceremony. Are the guards still using phones? Haven't been in touch with the TATR authorities of late.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
