    Default Bug

    ID not known, Canon 7D, 100mm 2.8 macro.

    F16, 1/120s, ISO 1000. Was trying to bring everything in focus that's why used F 16.

    It's some kind of shield bug (family Pentatomoidea). Would have looked better on something natural, rather than a wall. Having the bug parallel to the sensor (by moving to the right and slightly downwards) would have given you a better DoF.

    Nice image. Agree with the above comments. Its quite difficult to get more DOF while photographing macros. One advantage while photographing bugs, is you can try different settings and angles to get the best composition. Thanks for sharing.
