    Default Leopard

Shot this in bandipur earlier this month. This was how we first saw the cat. Later on, we had spent a good 30min following him. In fact, we were jut driving into the park and a couple of min into the safari, I realised something unusual on the rock and asked our driver to stop. Who knew it would be a leopard!!

Good that you had a leopard sighting. How large is the crop? Wish you had better light. This looks like the same leopard you had photographed earlier.

ISO 40? None of the digital SLRs have that ISO, so I guess a typographical error. So I checked but the exif details are not included in the image. What is the processing done?

    Sabyasachi,

I had done noise reduction using 'neat image' on this and that is why you couldn't find the exif. It is ISO 400. This isn't a very large crop....rough calculations put it at 20%.

    Thanks

    Bhargava,
Why do you need noise reduction at ISO 400?

Nice sighting. The lighting seems to be difficult. Agree at ISO 400 there won't to be much noise in the image. Thanks for sharing.
