    MUSTH:
    Musth occurs periodically in adult elephants marked by a dark, oily exudation from a temporal gland with a pore on either side,roughly midway between the eye and the ear.
    Have you got the photograph of the other side of the elephant, if so ,please upload it.Have you seen any exudation from the pore?
    Its very nice that you are looking for some natural phenomenon happening to the elephant or not.

    Fine Image. Rare document. In my view,the Makhna is in Musth,possibly in the final phase.The location,length,trajectory all point towards this view.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

    Nicely documented. Was the elephant so close that you got clicked at 116mm or did you crop
