    Default Khankati Tigress & cubs, Bandavgarh

    It was a great pleasure sighting Tigress with cubs, they were very playful. i couldnt get the picture very sharp bcause of the cubs moving very fast. can u please let me know which is the best mode and parameters i should use to get the best of action. I shot on Tv mode.

    Canon 5D
    lens IS USM 28-300MM
    Hand Held.

    Wow! The cub looks barely a couple of months old! When was this? I hear the cubs are all now safe and healthy, and are about 3-4 months old.

    Nice that you could sight the cubs. Can you please share your present EXIF details, so we can comment on what you could have done better. Thanks for sharing.

    I agree with Mrudul that if you can tell us how much of crop this image is, what was the ISO, shutter speed, aperture etc, then it will be easier for us to give better comments. Whether you use Tv mode or Av mode doesn't matter. The parameters have to be right. For eg. Tv mode means shutter priority. ie. the Tv mode allows you to set the shutter speed and the aperture is set automatically based on your ISO. For the same shutter speed if you increase the ISO, the aperture will become narrower.

    It is a real pleasure to watch such small cubs. Consider yourself to be very very blessed. Thanks for sharing.
