Nice action captured. The composition is too tight, some more space all around would be good. Where was this photographed? Thanks for sharing.

Nice image, a snake is open-mouthed and about to strike. It is non-venomous, normally calm, but may swell its neck,as in this case, and strike. Some may vibrate their tail in defence. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild.

Less of contrast and opening up the shadows will be better. Agree that wider comnposition with more space at the top will be better. In the present composition, your copyright notice is placed in the rule of thirds position and hence takes attention away from the open mouth. Copyright notice on the subject is quiet unnecessary. Technically if the copyright info is entered in the exif information, then your image is protected. A simple copyright notice at one end on the image is sufficient deterrent.

Despite that there will be a few downloads of images. However, these small images can't be used for commercial purpose. If a school kid downloads this image for school work, I wont mind. With such small sized images, no one can print or use it for commercial purposes. So copyright notices on the subject can help in boosting the ego of the person, rather than anything else.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
