    Default Bar headed Geese

Photographed in Bharatpur. A slight crop of about 10% as it was a bit far due to lot of crowd.

    Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 400, f6.3, 1/1600, hand held

    Comments and critiques welcome..

Nicely composed. The details are good, despite you shooting from a distance.

The poses make this a bit tricky to compose, but you have done it well. Was it possible to shoot from a lower angle?

Abhishek, the road was on height so getting down was not possible.

    Thanks all for the comments.

Mrudul, nice details. Loved the reflection. Were they in large numbers?

Interesting pose with one neck appearing and two heads on both sides. The other option is to shoot ultra closeups however for that even 800mm wont suffice.

It is tough to get a lower angle in bharatpur as the road/bunds are naturally at a higher elevation and even goind down to the water level, a real low PoV is hard to get.

    Cheers,
