    shot against the sun, the rodent was brisking on the giant cotton tree..

    Nice to see this species. I liked the composition. What were the EXIF details? Did you give a +ve EC? Thanks for sharing.

    thanks for the comment. exif details 7D+100-400, f/5.6, 1/1250, iso 320, EC -0.3, evaluative metering at AV mode.

    Rare image.I am not sure whether it is Orange-bellied Himalayan squirrel (Dramomys lokriah) or Hoary-bellied Himalayan squirrel(Callosciuris pygerythrus).Only Kaling Bhai can tell us .Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

    Good to see this species. Wish you had frontal lighting. That would have given details and brought out colours in the body helping in the easy identification. It is interesting how the tail is. Thanks for sharing.

    Wow the tail looks very interesting, nothing like I have ever seen before. We must thank Kaling for bringing in pictures from Arunachal- a state largely unknown to the rest of the country but never the less stunning in natural beauty.
