Lovely composition Sabyasachi. Is this full frame or cropped? I would pull back the brightness a little. Any particular reason for the +2/3 EC? Wouldn't +1/3 or even 0 have been enough?

Nice live action photograph. The angle of take-off and wingspread are nice. The breeding male has just taken off,the mate to follow. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

    Abhishek,
This is a cropped image. I hadn't calculated it earlier, as I posted it in a hurry. There is more space at the back and below. I was expecting more water droplets, but that didnt happen.

    Original frame size: 4896x3264
    Cropped frame: 4221x 2814
    % Crop = [(4896x3264)-(4221x 2814)]/(4896x3264) = 25.67%

Wow. It looked like a small crop. And when I calculated, I found that this is 25% crop.

It was overcast day, and I wanted it properly exposed, so I dialed in a +2/3rd EC. While processing, I even pulled up the highlights and whites as I was experimenting. I didn't want the focus to be on the bird in the background.

I will post a black and white version of the same image later.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Nice take off shot.I like the low angle. More water droplets flying wud have been even better.

Lovely Image. Liked the composition. Ideally would have preferred bit more space all around. Not sure if that could have been done.

    Great moment captured.

    Thanks for sharing.
