    shot with 7D 100mm f2.8L IS macro. sorry to let you all know that i had to remove them from this site as they were nesting on my tender rubber plants. may be an irresistible human greed. C&C pl.

    exif details are f/5.6, 1/200, iso-400 at 100mm.

    Nice image kaling. i think these are weaver ants and they are weaving leaves togather for nest building.

    as far as snap is concern..... Nice Macro.
    In nature every this is made with some purpose......
    Those big red ants Kills the insects which are harmfull for the growth of the tree trunk...... This is what I have observed on our mango trees.... The trees with chemical insecticide yields less testy mangos as compaired to the one with these natural insecticide..... Big Red ant (I dont know what the scientific name is.)
