    Default Tiger crossing the road

Made this picture in Bandavgarh (April 2011)
    Canon 7D with 100-400
    f/5.6 1/200 ISO 500
    Focal length 100mm

Looking forward to some critique. Have yet learnt or zeroed on a workflow for PP. I used basic adjustments brightness, contrast and saturation for this image. also one unsharp mask filter.

Nice sighting. The raised paw looks nice. Good details and eye contact. Was this clicked in Magadi Zone? Is this Bamera Male? Thanks for sharing.

Sight of a big tiger fills us with joy. A lower angle would have looked great. Why was it walking in this manner? (look at the rear left leg).

He did not look injured or something, but guess he was trying to sir but later made up his mind to walk further. The guide said that the ground is too hot for him to sit for a longer time.

    Thanks !

After I asked you for his name, I checked up with innumerable images I have of this handsome male and realised this is The Bamera. In this image the injury on his face is not visible.

    Default Tiger crossing the road

I first saw him on 15th January 2011 and next on 25th December 2011. He was injured between these dates. You may see my image posted here to see the injury on his face.
