Beautifully documented image of the tigress without teeth. Any idea how she lost her teeth? Am not sure if tigers lose teeth on account of old age. Thanks for sharing.

Nice you could see her yawning. I agree mostly the teeth are lost in hunting. I have heard she is fed with goats and does not hunt anymore. Some more space at the bottom to include the paws would have been good. What were the EXIF details. A bit more sharpness would have enhanced the image further. Thanks for sharing.

Well documented. The tourism lobby has hyped her and TOFT had given an award of Life Time Achievement. There are so many tigers in other sanctuaries and national parks that would have sired more offspring, however, she being in tourism zone attracts attention. So this tigress will be alive till she can swallow and digest her food. May be they will start giving her mutton keema, so that without teeth she can swallow and digest. This is bordering on the theater of the absurd.

Well documented. It is an established fact that the forest officials have been giving her meat, on which she has been surviving for several weeks now. I agree with Sabyasachi that though she is a remarkable tigress, there would be other tigers even more legendary and unknown to us.
