    Arrow Gaurs at Anamalais

When the mist cleared, saw a herd of Gaurs heading towards the Sholas from the grasslands of Anamalai Tiger Reserve.

Beautiful image of the lovely landscape and the gaurs grazing. I'd been to annamalai 25yrs back as a young boy with my parents, brings back some memories of it As Saktipadaji said the bull in front is distinct and is a real huge fellow. Thanks for sharing.

Nice display of the habitat. Liked the dense forest cover and the hills. Good you could spot the Gaur herd in the open. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

I love the scape. The bull definitely is huge. I like the way you have used a wider perspective to portray the scene. Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

    Mohan,

A very pleasant looking landscape. However, my only minor problem is that with almost all the gaur facing the left, there is very little space in that direction and all the space to the right, though a very lovely habitat becomes negative. I'm not sure, but you may have tried to put the herd of gaur right in the middle of the frame with almost equal spacing on both sides.

Nice slope. Less space at the right would have shown less of the curved slope. I agree that if the gaurs were facing to the right, then this would have been superb. Overall, nice feel of the habitat. The mist adds to it. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely. Agree with the others on the composition, but I'm not sure you could have done much about it. A very nice image nevertheless.
